Busy as a BEE!!!

I'm back! It has been so long since I have updated this but life has been a little crazy but FUN! For the past 4 months we have been traveling all over the place.
In March we took some time off and went to Josephine, AL to enjoy the beach with the Hines. It was a blast and we loved hanging out with Mr. Jeff, Mrs. Kim, K.K. and Darby! They are one special family to Bill and I. In April we kicked off the first of several wedding parties! With the first one in Decatur at the Sexton Building. It sits right on the river! The party was given by the one and only Birthday Club! It was lots of fun and I enjoyed meeting some new Decatur people! The second party was at the end of April and it was a Linen Shower in Opelika. We gots lots and lots of towels! Now this brings us to May. May was probably the busiest for us. We had Bill's company picnic, 4 wedding parties between Auburn and Alex City and two dance recitals! Everything went well and Bill even got to miss one of the dance recitals for his bachelor party in Jacksonville, FL. He and the guys went deep sea fishing and caught lots of fish.
Now that we are into June I believe it might be the slowest month for us so far but we are always going on the weekends. Taylor was in Miss Alabama the first weekend of June and she did a great job. She won a few thousand dollars worth of scholarship money and it was fun to visit with family every night she performed! Thank you to everyone that came out and supported her. We have had 4 more wedding parties in June and got to spend the weekend at the lake with all of Bill's groomsmen and their wives. It was the best weekend so far and was nice to relax and soak in some sun!!!
I think that gets us up to date. Tomorrow is a big day for us because we close on our house. We can't wait to start moving in and get everything settled before the big day on July 18th!!! After the closing we will head to Nashville for the 1st Baggett wedding of the summer. Patrick and Amy get married this Sunday. I am so excited for them and I know the wedding will be beautiful!!

Let's go Fishing....

Bill and I are engaged! I am so excited and can't wait to be married. It happened on the River and was absolutly perfect. Bill and I headed to Decatur to spend New Years with some friends in Huntsville. He was able to take off a day of work so that we could spend some time with his family too. Bill and I were suppose to go fishing on Wednesday but when I woke up it was about 35 degrees. So you can imagine I did not want to go. First of all I never catch a fish when Bill and I go and secondly I didn't want to freeze. But I was a trooper and said I would go because I know he enjoys it so much and doesn't get to fish very often.

So we loaded up the boat and headed to the River. I was not a happy camper but was trying really hard to be. We put the boat in and road to Flint Creek. It is a section of the River that is off the main channel. Bill proceded to cut the boat off like he always does and normally he goes to put the trolling motor in and starts fishing but this time he didn't. Instead he came fishing for me!!! It was perfect and I can't even think of a more perfect way for us to get engaged!!

The engagement process has been so much fun so far and both of us have enjoyed spending time with friends and family. We are planning on getting married in July in Opelika!!

Christmas came early and brought....LILLY!

Two Saturday's ago Bill and I went to Rome, GA for a wedding but little did Bill know that we would be picking up his Christmas present before we made it back to Auburn. I had purchased Lilly earlier that week and couldn't stand waiting a month to give her to Bill. So I convinced Bill that we had to drive an hour and a half out of our way to pick up some dance costumes for the Christmas parade. Needless to say he wasn't very happy but he was a trooper. When we were about 5 minutes away from the house I told him. I have never seen him so excited!! Lilly is a miniature daschund and she will be 10 weeks on this coming Tuesday. It has been fun watching her play and it has also been a challenged training her. She has traveled alot since we have had her. She spent her first night with us in Dadeville, Thanksgiving in Decatur and made a brief trip to Birmingham. She also got to make her first appearance at the Alexander City Christmas parade last night.

I look forward to watching her grow!! Here are some pictures of her journey!

Enjoying her new bed! Playing with Snickers....she didn't like Lilly much at first.

LATELY......

So I can't believe football season is almost over and we are half way through November. I have been super busy this past month and a half with work but still manage to squeeze in some fun.

At the first of this month Abe, Brooke, Taylor, John, Bill and I packed up the car and went to Oxford for the Ole Miss vs Auburn football game. With us all living in different places it is hard to get everyone together in one place for the whole weekend. It was so great to hangout with my sisters!! Eventhough the Tigers weren't able to pull out with a victory we sure did have some fun!!

That same weekend Bill and I also got to spend some time with his family!! On Saturday Patrick popped the question and Amy said yes! It was fun to be a part of all the excitement after the big date. I also got to meet Amy's family and her sweet roommates! They are getting married on June 28th in Nashville. I can't wait!!

The latest trip was a recent trip to ATL to see So You Think You Can Dance!! Last Thursday my sisters, Mom and I went to the Gwinett Civic Center to see our favorite dancers. It was so much fun and the show was incredible. It really made me miss dancing!! It was nice to get away for the night and spend some quality time with just the girls. Something that doesn't happen to often these days.

Us outside SYTYCD taking a picture in the FOR REAL pose! It was the saying for the season!! :)

Time flys when you are having FUN!

Yesterday Bill and I celebrated our one year anniversary. I can't believe that this time last year I didn't even know who Bill Baggett was? I want to give special thanks to Morgan and Taylor for introducing me to him.

The past year has been so exciting! We have shared many special moments together and are truly blessed to have each other in our lives. I look forward to what the future holds for both of us!

Here are some pictures of the past year!

We love spending time with each other on the water whether it is Lake Martin or the River in Decatur!!!

We love visiting Decatur and seeing the Memorial Day Balloon Glow!

And we don't pass up a chance to see the Tigers play!

I'm Getting OLD!!

Today my little baby sister turns 22! And boy does that make me feel OLD! It seems like yesterday we were playing house, barbie dolls, and dress up. Now she is in her senior year at Auburn and loving every minute of it. She has really impressed me over the years. It has been fun to watch her grow into the young lady she is today. Her excitement for life is contagious and she is probably the best listener around. Although I am older than her I often catch myself looking up to her as a role model. She is very grounded in her beliefs and values and she helps me strive to be a better person. With us both being back in Auburn she probably gets sick of her older sister always hanging around but I love every minute that we get to spend together! So Happy Birthday Tay Tay!!! Hope you have a great one!!

Last night we celebrated Taylor's birthday with some close friends! It was great time filled with food and fellowship. Thanks to all who came out and a special thanks goes out to Cate and Sara. It was so sweet of you two to plan the Birthday dinner for Taylor. She is very fortunate to have such sweet friends and roommates.
Look at Sara's great cake!! She is so domestic!! :)
